Many times a role for actors has an impact on their real life. The same thing happened in the life of Martin Kove, who plays John Creeze in the TV series “Cobra Kai”.
Based on the popular “Karate Kid” movie franchise, “Cobra Kai” takes place about three decades after the events of the original films.
Speaking to The Wrap about the promotion of season 4 of “Cobra Kai”, Cove stressed that he did not want to play Criz as a “one-dimensional tough guy”. He also talked about the fact that playing Kriz was not always easy, explaining that part of his interpretation remains even after the end of filming. As a result, he explained, he had some troubled relationships in real life.
“Several parts of Kriz’s character have entered my personality and, unfortunately, some of them have caused me problems.
