The Oscar-winning actress, Jessica Chastainhas been announced as the star of the upcoming eight-episode Apple TV+ miniseries, titled “The Savant”. Based on a true story published in Cosmopolitan in 2019, the series will follow an activist, who goes by the pseudonym “Savant,” as she infiltrates online hate groups to prevent large-scale terrorist attacks.

Chastain will not only star in the series, but will also executive produce alongside Anonymous Content and Fifth Season. The series is expected to be a provocative and intense look at the dark corners of online communities where hatred and bigotry thrive.
