Pop singer Britney Spears, 40, shared nude photos once again in an Instagram post on Thursday (6). In the photos, she only wears a necklace and white socks.
In the post, the artist strategically covered her left nipple and her private parts with flower and heart emojis. “The energy of a free woman who never felt better,” the singer wrote in the caption.
Britney, who recently admitted on Instagram that she reads comments and realized that “people are absolutely hateful”, has disabled comments on this post.
The Grammy winner frequently shared photos of her naked body in the past year as she struggled to end her family guardianship. In September, after 13 years, she managed to free herself from her guardianship and celebrated by sharing a series of nude photos while on vacation with her fiancé, Sam Asghari, on social media.
Two days before Christmas, Britney also took to social media to announce that she is working on an unreleased song. In the video caption posted on her Instagram, she listed her various hits and warned, without going into details: “Pssss… New song in production! I’ll show you what I mean.”
The text was later deleted, but the recording of Britney singing in front of the mirror is still in the profile. Intentionally or not, the announcement was captured and passed on among fans and media outlets and increased speculation about the artist’s return.
In the same publication, Britney again poked her family, responsible for putting her under legal guardianship in 2008. “I just realized this today… After what my family tried to do to me… I needed to be mine. cheerleader! God knows they weren’t,” she wrote.
“So I just read about myself and this is what I found: Multi-platinum, Grammy-winning pop icon Britney Spears is one of the most successful and celebrated artists in pop history with nearly 100 million of albums sold worldwide,” he began.
She went on to list her achievements in the industry, and concluded, “No, I’m not auditioning for anything! I’m reminding myself and the world of who I am! Yes… I’m going to be my own cheerleader. Why? I’m here to remind my white, ‘classy’ family that I haven’t forgotten what they did to me, and I never will!”
If the new song comes to fruition, it would be the singer’s first release since her latest album, 2016’s Glory.
