The Cannes Film Festival has confirmed that the film “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” will make its world premiere at the festival, Variety has confirmed.

James Mangold and Harrison Ford will take to the steps of the Palais des Festivals on May 18 alongside Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Antonio Banderas, John Rhys-Davies, Toby Jones, Boyd Holbrook, Ethan Isidore and Mads Mikkelsen. The film will be screened out of competition.

The festival will also pay special tribute to Harrison Ford’s career, as this will reportedly be the last time Ford will play the titular character.

James Mangold said in a statement that “in 1995, I had the honor of coming to Cannes with my first film, Heavy.” 28 years later, I’m proud to be back. My partners and I are very excited to share with you a brand new Indiana Jones adventure.”

“Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” is set to hit theaters on June 28 in France and June 30 in the US.
