A photo that went viral on TikTok lately, it’s a handwritten sign that reads, “Kim Kardashian Ruined My Life,” held by a middle-aged man.

The reason for David Liebensohnwho claims to be the original creator of Kimoji, Kim Kardashian’s emojis and gifs app.

According to him, Kim and her mother Kris Jenner, contacted Liebensohn’s company in 2013 to negotiate a trademark deal. During their meeting in Calabasas, David showed the family his idea for Kimoji, and he claims they reached a verbal agreement to finalize production of the app.

He started working on this new project, presenting them with his first ideas. It was during this time that he received a call from Kardashian’s legal team asking him if he had trademarked the Kimoji and offering to do it for him to speed up the process. However, the trademark was already registered without his name appearing, leading to legal disputes.

With the event in question, Mr Liebensohn sued Kardashian in 2019 for $100 million, claiming that Kimoji were created from ideas stolen from him. The famous TV personality and her lawyers countered the allegations as “false and absurd” and countersued for $300 million, prompting the man to drop the suit.

However, Kardashian and her mother demanded $400,000 in legal fees and financial damages, which pushed Liebensohn into bankruptcy. This resulted in him losing his family and living in his car.

During his stay in his car, he created a website, kimkardashianruinedmylife.com, where he shares his story, asking for donations to pay off his legal debt.

The story has gone viral on social media, with TikTok users sharing their views and reactions.
