Actor José de Abreu, 76, did not miss a mistake made by Roger Moreira, 66, lead singer of Ultraje a Rigor, on social networks. The singer wanted to criticize the government of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT), but ended up committing a gaffe. “Donkey”, reacted José de Abreu.
On Twitter, Moreira shared a post from Sheet with the text “Deforestation in the Amazon in March breaks record and is the highest in the last six years” and criticized the current government. “Hey, Hulk! Run here! Look at the shit you supported! Call Leo!”, Wrote the singer when reposting the newspaper’s tweet.
The publication, however, is from 2021, the year in which the president of Brazil was Jair Bolsonaro (PL), of whom Moreira is an open supporter. In responses to the singer’s tweet, netizens pointed out the error and disapproved of the use of out-of-context information to criticize the government.
José de Abreu replicated what happened and said that Moreira is “dumb”. Abreu supported Lula in the 2022 election campaign and is ideologically on the left.
Hours later, Moreira shared another tweet from Sheetthis time with the article “Amazon and cerrado have record deforestation in February”, 2023. “Now, not a peep”, he wrote on his Twitter account.
