Wife of journalist William Bonner, physiotherapist Natasha Dantas was stolen in the city of Rio de Janeiro this Thursday (6). She had her necklace stolen and was left with a scratch near her neck. “I’m fine. It was a fright, an uprising and a cord. And no, I’m not guilty of wearing a cord. I was a victim of the violence that, unfortunately, plagues Rio and so many other cities,” she said.
Dantas recorded what happened in his Instagram stories. In the morning, he photographed his bike ride and hike with a friend. In the photo before the theft, she appears with a necklace around her neck. “Walking the Rildy and meeting friends. What a perfect town, huh?” she wrote. Shortly after, a new photo showed a bleeding scratch on her lap area. “But not so much. The cord that was in the previous story is now in the hands of a criminal,” she explained.
Later, Dantas published a thank you for the messages of concern he received. “How many messages! Of concern and also indignation. What a good affection you showed me today. Thank you!”. She also criticized violence in the city of Rio de Janeiro.
Dantas and Bonner have been married for four years. The civil wedding took place on September 8, 2018, one year and five months after they took on the relationship.
