BBB: Do you remember them? See the first eliminated from each edition

THE Big Brother Brasil 22 (Globo) premieres on the 17th with another wave of anonymous participants looking for an opportunity in reality. People who go through a long selection process to get to the most watched house in Brazil, usually sharing the same desire: not to be eliminated in the first week.

The model Caetano Zonaro was marked by his beauty and as the first participant eliminated in the history of reality. Today, at 59, he is a presenter, publicist and grandfather of four grandchildren. He even told Gshow, years after the program, that if he went now he would try to go unnoticed that first week.

Fortune teller Rita Sinara entered BBB 2 with the intention of winning the award and performing artificial insemination, but she did not do well in the game and was eliminated in the first week. After that, she said in interviews that she was approached by several doctors, who offered the procedure. She continues to work as a fortune teller.

At BBB 3, two participants were eliminated in the first wall: Samantha Barradas and photographer Paulo Roberto. She moved to the United States and is now a jiu-jitsu champion and teacher of the sport. The photographer follows life away from the spotlight.

With a strong temper, crossfit athlete Tati Giordano was also the first to be eliminated in the fourth edition of the program, having played a part in a fight with Juliana Leite after her nomination. Today, she owns four gyms and is the mother of two girls, one of whom was born last year.

Already Juliana Brandão was eliminated in the first week of BBB 5, after participating in a plot to eliminate the champion of the edition, Jean Wyllis. It was precisely with him that she disputed the public’s preference. Today, Juliana is a mother, photographer, influencer and promotes courses, she abandoned the colored hair and piercings she used at the time.

At BBB 6, the first eliminated was sister Juliana Canabarro. After the program, she moved away from the spotlight, became a civil police officer in Rio Grande do Sul and maintains a closed profile on Instagram. She even dated traffic agent Daniel Fontes, a participant in the 17th edition of the reality show, but the relationship ended.

At BB7, two were eliminated in the first week: translator Juliana Regueiro and graphic designer Airton Cabral. The second, however, managed to return to the program in a recap. The two live their lives out of the spotlight after the show.

There are also cases of participants who, despite their bad luck in reality, being the first to be eliminated, their careers took off outside the house. Jaqueline Khury, from BBB 8, became a presenter, was panicat do Pânico on TV and currently works as an influencer and coach in good shape and self-esteem. Miss Pernambuco 2008, Michelle Costa, left BBB 9 to invest in her acting career.

Another former BBB miss was Joseane Oliveira, who participated in two editions of the reality show. At BBB 3 she was eliminated in the second week, but at BBB 10 she left the house on the first wall. She lost the title of miss by claiming on the reality show that she had been married since 1998 – which is prohibited in the beauty contest. Joseane works today as an administrator and manager.

First transsexual to participate in the BBB, Ariadna Arantes left the 11th edition of the reality in the first week, but has been reaping the fruits of his participation until today. She moved to Italy and is now a digital influencer. Last year, he participated in No Limite (2021) and became news when he got involved in a controversy with the former Fazenda Lary Booty due to a bracelet borrowed while traveling.

Analice Souza, from BBB 12, Aline Souza, from BBB 13, and João Almeida, from BBB 14, also had quick passages through the program and returned to their lives away from the spotlight. Francieli Medeiros, from BBB 15, was exonerated from the position of criminal conciliator at the Court of Justice of Porto Alegre for giving an interview in the courtroom without authorization. Today, she is a digital influencer.

Another who also faced serious consequences after the reality show is political scientist and university professor Mara Telles, from BBB 18. In an interview with UOL, she said she was blamed for breaking the exclusive dedication regime at the university, but continues to work at the institution.

Other first eliminated were the journalist Harumi Ishihara, 64, who was the oldest participant of the BBB 16 and who currently works as a communication and marketing consultant, and the dance teacher Gabriela Flor who suffered prejudice at the BBB 17 for wearing curly hair and arrived to hear that he should “straighten his hair”. Currently, she also works as a model, digital influencer and Pilates instructor.

The BBB 19 participant Vinícius Fernandes also returned to dedicate himself to plastic art after a brief stay of a week in the most watched house in Brazil, as well as the surfer Lucas Chumbo, who was the first famous from the Camarote group to leave the program and soon returned to the championships. He was the champion of the giant waves tournament in Nazaré, in 2021.

The last one eliminated from the program was the model and influencer from Ceará Kerline Cardoso, from BBB 21. She joined the Pipoca group as anonymous and received only R$ 200 for the seven days of participation. “Everyone thinks we earn money to be participating. We don’t. It earns over time, and it’s a very symbolic value”, he said.
