Actor Juliano Cazarré gave updates on the health status of Maria Guilhermina, his nine-month-old daughter who was born with a rare congenital heart disease called Ebstein’s Anomaly. This Saturday (8), he opened a box of questions in Instagram stories and answered questions from followers. The actor said that his daughter is fine and that “the result is for God to decide”. “It’s up to us to fight”, wrote Cazarré.

The actor said that Maria is “very well since she returned from the hospital” and that she is “very attentive and smiling”. A week ago, Cazarré’s daughter was discharged after being hospitalized. Shortly before leaving the hospital, the actor’s wife, Leticia, published a photo of her daughter and wrote: “Ten days of hospitalization. So far, there have been: many worries, many sleepless nights, much prayer, many exams, nebulizations, medicines , medical visits from many specialties, many injections, there was dehydration, infection, convulsions… but there was also a lot of cuddles and now, finally, a lot of smiles!”.

A follower of the actor shared that the daughter also has Ebstein Anomaly and asked: “How can you be so strong like that?”. Cazarré replied: “We know that we are in the presence of God at all times and that it is his will that will be done. It is up to us to fight. Carry the Cross with joy. But the result is for God to decide”.

Maria Guilhermina was born with heart disease and underwent surgery shortly after birth, on June 21. Ebstein’s Anomaly occurs due to a malformation of one of the heart valves and, according to the Sabará Children’s Hospital, affects one in every ten thousand babies.
