His friends Star Wars, get ready for an exciting new series coming to Disney+ this summer! The highly anticipated science fiction series, Ahsoka, is set in the Star Wars universe after the fall of the Empire and features an all-star cast including Rosario Dawson, Natasha Liu Bordizzo and Mary Elizabeth Winstead. The streaming service has released a teaser trailer, giving fans a taste of what’s to come.

In the series, Rosario Dawson plays the lead role of Ahsoka Tano, who investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy. The teaser trailer, which premiered at STAR WARS Celebration in London, promises an action-packed adventure for fans of the franchise.

But Ahsoka is not alone in her mission. She is joined by Sabine Wren, played by Natasha Liu Bordizzo, and Hera Syndulla, played by Mary Elizabeth Winstead. Fans of the Star Wars Rebels animated series will recognize these characters, who were members of the Rebel Alliance. It will be interesting to see how their stories continue in this new live action series.

Ahsoka is written by Dave Filoni, who is executive producing along with Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson and Carrie Beck. Karen Gilchrist is the co-executive producer. This team has previously worked on successful Star Wars projects such as “The Mandalorian” and “Star Wars: The Clone Wars,” giving fans even more reason to be excited about Ahsoka.

The series will debut exclusively on Disney+ in August 2023, but an exact premiere date has yet to be announced.
