The movie “Strange Way of Life” of Pedro Almodovar will have its world premiere at the 76th Cannes Film Festival. The Spanish director will be on the red carpet with his two leads, Ethan Hawke and Pedro Pascal, as confirmed by the festival, and then after the screening in the discussion that will follow with the film team.

Almodóvar revealed in a statement that the film’s title “refers to Amalia Rodríguez’s famous fado, whose lyrics suggest that there is no stranger existence than that lived by turning one’s back on one’s desires.”
