Roberto de Carvalho shows Rita Lee’s reaction with homage at Altas Horas; check out

Roberto de Carvalho, 70, shared with fans the reaction of Rita Lee, 75, with the tribute received on Altas Horas (Globo), shown on Saturday night (15). In the images, the singer appears smiling while following an excerpt from Serginho Groisman’s, 72, program.

“Very good! Long live rock’n’roll, long live Rita Lee!”, says the presenter in the video. In response to the publication on the social network, Groisman even sent another message to the couple. “Rita and Roberto, all the love in the world to you!” he wrote.

Carvalho also published a small excerpt from the performance of Manu Gavassi, 30, singing “Esse Tal de Rock and Roll” on the attraction. “What an honor to participate in this celebration! A kiss on you and the Mother Goddess”, she said in the comments. Several celebrities, from different areas, liked the publications. Among them, Roberta Miranda, Astrid Fontenelle and Boninho.

The special edition of Altas Horas had the participation of names such as Luísa Sonza, Tiago Iorc, Zezé Motta, Paula Toller, Fernanda Abreu, Paulo Ricardo, Céu, Tico Santa Cruz and Tom Zé. All presented songs that were successful in the honoree’s voice.

Inmate since she started treating lung cancer in 2021, Rita watched the recording in real time from home. In February, Rita spent nine days hospitalized at Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein, in São Paulo. Her son, Beto Lee, was present and played with the band that accompanied his mother until the rocker retired in 2012.

The rocker was the first artist to perform at Altas Horas, when the program debuted in 2000. In addition to the musical homage, Serginho Groisman announced that one of the attraction’s stages would be named after her. Another stage of the program is already baptized with the name of Milton Nascimento, in addition to a ramp that was named after Zeca Pagodinho.
