Andrew Garfield has spoken of his return to the role of Spider-Man.
The actor, who made a surprise appearance in “Spider-Man: No Way Home”, to which Peter Parker / Spiderman returned to help current franchise hero Tom Holland, spoke to Variety about the possibility return to the role of superhero.
“I mean, yes, [θα ήμουν] “definitely open to something if I felt it was right,” Garfield said in an interview.
Garfield appeared for most of the second half of the film, along with fellow former Spider-Man Tobey Maguire, in a plot that includes many superhero universes that merge with the universe of today’s Spider-Man Tom Holland.
“We shot for two weeks, Toby and I, but I think we managed to do something that was not a simple show,” said Garfield, who played the superhero in 2014 on “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” and “The Amazing Spider-Man” of 2012.
Both Maguire and Holland have three appearances in their respective franchises, while Garfield has only two.
“Peter [Πάρκερ] “And Spider-Man, these characters have to do with service, for the greater good and the many,” Garfield said.
“He is a working class boy from Queens who knows the struggle and the loss and has a deep empathy. “I would try to lend Peter Parker’s moral framework to it, if I had the opportunity to go back and tell more about this story, I would feel very confident about myself.”
The prospect of his return is really exciting for Marvel fans, given the low point where Spider-Man found himself at the end of “Amazing Spider-Man 2” – that is, the death of his girlfriend Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone).
Referring to the reasons that persuaded him to return to the franchise, he said that “there were so many unanswered questions about Peter, as it ended [η δεύτερη ταινία]. “I had to go back and give him a ransom,” he told Variety.
Much of this redemption came from his character’s chance to save MJ (Zendaya), with whom Holland-Peter Parker is in love, as he falls into a vacuum in the final scenes of the new film.
