Aaron Carter’s former rep, Kelly K., is questioning the result of the autopsy that revealed the artist’s cause of death. In an interview with PageSix, the singer’s former career manager feels more relaxed about the case reaching a solution, but that some details still need to be checked.
“We know that two people were at his home prior to his death and we are baffled as to why these two were not properly identified and/or investigated,” Kelly told PageSix, without naming names.
“We have no idea who the two unidentified men were who were seen shortly before death leaving Aaron’s home,” added Kelly K. It is only known that one of the people in the house was the housekeeper, who called the police reporting the death.
The Los Angeles Police Department did not speak further about the case after the suspicions raised by Kelly and family members.
According to the document revealed by the coroner, this Tuesday (18), Carter died from drowning and under the effects of difluoroethane, a flammable gas often used as a propellant in cans of compressed air, and alprazolam, a generic form of Xanax.
However, the family questioned the reported data. “[O resultado] claims that death was by drowning, but also adds that he was wearing a shirt and necklace in the bathtub, which makes no sense. Why would he be in a bathtub with clothes on?” Melanie Martin, Aaron’s ex-fiancée, told TMZ.
Aaron’s close friends also told PageSix that the singer was afraid that “people were after him”. The feeling of persecution was also reported by Morgan Matthews, another former manager of the artist.
