Prince Andrew: Sells chalet in Switzerland over Epstein scandal

by

Prince Andrew, a friend of Epstein and his partner Ghislaine Maxwell, is in the spotlight in US justice because Joufre filed a lawsuit against him last August for “sexual assault” in 2001, when he was 17 years old. The Prince’s lawyers are doing their best to stop the proceedings, arguing that under the 2009 agreement, Virginia Gioufre can not sue Queen Elizabeth’s second son.

As it became known, Prince Andrew needs immediate money and this time his mother, Queen Elizabeth of England, will not help him.

“There is no doubt that the Queen will not help Andrew settle the matter,” sources close to Buckingham Palace told the Daily Mail.

To cope with the legal costs and fees of his lawyers, the Duke of York is trying to sell the Swiss chalet he bought in 2014 in Verbier – which is called the most expensive village in the world – for 16.6 million pounds. The purchase was made jointly with his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson. The property goes to the hammer for 17 million pounds because the queen refuses to pay the bill for the settlement in the case of sexual abuse of Virginia Geoffrey.

The chalet in Switzerland has seven bedrooms, located in the luxurious Swiss resort of Verbier. He was bought together with his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson with whom he shares a special relationship.

The scandal with the prince
Joufre claims that the prince had sex with her three times during the period when he had been trafficked by the pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Prince Andrew insists the charges are pending, and U.S. Judge Lewis Kaplan may announce his decision Friday on whether Andrew will stand trial in a New York City court, after lawyers argued this week that the case Mrs. Roberts should not be tried because of her 2009 civil settlement with Jeffrey Epstein.

If the case goes to trial and Andrew loses, Geoffrey could get a compromise that legal experts have predicted could reach 3 3 million.

It should be recalled that Jeffrey Epstein, after being accused of sexual crimes, committed suicide in prison in 2019.
