Handsome, charismatic and successful, actor João Vicente de Castro, 40, says he is used to dealing with rumors that he is always involved in some “affair”. It was like this with the influencer Rafa Kalimann, with the model Carol Ramiro, with the singer Juliette … More recently, it was the turn of Sabrina Sato, his ex, to enter the list of alleged romances.
The two dated between 2013 and 2015, but after the separation of the presenter from Duda Nagle, in March, many people on social networks began to rescue affectionate messages from João Vicente to his former partner. The crowd was for the two to resume their relationship.
“I’m not going to lie that when I was younger I liked this reputation as a womanizer, it messed with my narcissism, but today I think it’s silly”, decrees the actor in conversation with the F5. According to him, the “chemistry is very strong” with Sabrina, so much so that both are going to launch a program about relationships on Multishow and Globoplay, which will debut in the last quarter of this year.
João Vicente understands that, when the reality airs, they will ship the couple again. “Our relationship is very beautiful, we love each other very much, we have affection, affinity, but I hope that fame does not return, because in some way it can disturb this separation process. It is not fair to her”, he defends.
But he knows that there are many people who like both. “The reality is getting fun. I hope they say that the program is pleasing more than about our love life”, he amends.
Last March, João Vicente turned 40 and says he continues in a phase of eternal deconstruction. According to him, the presentation of the program Papo de Segunda, on GNT, has helped him to constantly evolve, to think further ahead and outside the box.
“I’m more attentive to sensitive issues. As a progressive being, I think that our great struggle is to make a more welcoming and affectionate society for the greatest number of people. There are many topics in which we want to evolve. I’m a guy who works daily to be better.”
As an actor, soon he will also be part of a film, a play in Portugal and a soap opera on Globo, with recordings scheduled for the middle of the year. He also says that his vanity remains the same, neither bigger nor smaller, but that a forty-year-old man also has his issues.
“People romanticize maturity a lot. Of course, being older has very cool factors, I feel better intellectually, spiritually, but I don’t think getting old is fun. There are some physical limitations that appear, such as shortness of breath and less agility, this complicates . But there are only 40, not 80”, he jokes.
