Tom Ford expressed his objections to certain beauty trends adopted by celebrities, which he considers harmful. Taking part in the iHeartPodcast’s “Table for Two with Bruce Bozzi,” the fashion mogul revealed that he feels that sometimes plastic surgery is overdone.

“People inject a lot of stuff into their face… You look at a lot of celebrities now and you just think, ‘Oh my God, what do they see when they look in the mirror?'” said the American fashion designer. “They don’t even look like themselves anymore“, he added.

“And it’s really a deformity. I think a lot of these people are losing touch with who they were. They see a line and think they have to fill it. They see a wrinkle and need to fill it. They see someone else’s mouth and think they have to have it“, he continued.

The fashion designer made the specific comments after previously expressing his concerns about the direction the famous Met Gala.
