The 61-year-old American actress, Meg Ryanmade a rare public appearance at the screening of his documentary Michael J. Fox, “Still”, in New York. The “Sleepless in Seattle” star’s smooth skin and swollen lips fueled new rumors of plastic surgery, which she has always denied.

The famous actress has been avoiding photographers since she has been photographed since November 2021. However, this time she seems to have made an exception for her good friend Michael J. Fox. So she posed alongside Bill Murray and Elvis Costello at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center, where the screening took place.

“Still” follows Michael J. Fox, the legendary actor of the films “Back to the Future” and “Teen Wolf”, as he tells the story of his life, how a boy from Canada became one of the biggest stars in Hollywood. With the help of the Oscar-winning director, Davis Guggenheim, who, using material from the most important moments of his career and with a series of interviews, captures the actor’s struggle with Parkinson’s disease at the age of only 29 and conveys to the viewers his optimism in the face of difficulties.

Meg Ryan supported her friend’s film at the screening, which will be released on Apple TV+ on May 12. The actress has always brushed aside rumors about her appearance. She said in a 2015 interview with Porter magazine: “Honestly, I don’t pay much attention… There’s a lot of hate in the world today. It’s so easy to judge. How stupid is all this…”

However, plastic surgeon Mark Youssef, analyzing her face in Hollywood Life, argued that Ryan had undergone too many changes. He speculated that she had fillers or fat transfer to her cheeks, a nose job, lip injections, Botox, a facelift, and even a laser skin resurfacing procedure.

Ryan is set to return to the entertainment industry with the film ‘What Happens Later’, which she plans to direct and star in. The upcoming film is an adaptation of Steven Dietz’s play ‘Shooting Star’. Ryan’s co-star is David Duchovny. The Hollywood Reporter described the film as a “sophisticated and nostalgic take on the romantic comedy”, focusing on an ex-couple who examines their romantic past while stranded in an airport by snow.
