The tour starts traditionally, from the well-known “Psaronefri” tavern. The name is not at all accidental as this was for many years the main material of the catalogue. The patrons decided that the shop would be called brisket and the owners could not guarantee that every day they would serve there the best brisket of the northern suburbs.
Dimitris will take a quick walk from the new store IKEA at The Mall Athens, to get the ingredients for the next recipe he will cook on set. There Philip will welcome him and guide him to the new phygital world of IKEA.
A popcorn stop is always nice, but a gourmet popcorn stop is a must! In “Popy’s Gourmet Pop Corn” we will try the upgraded, and perhaps sweeter, version of the simple popcorn.
The next… discovery is as the name suggests- in the pines. The Apostolou family, who have taken over the tavern “The Pines” for the last thirty years, it has been serving in the green courtyard of an old single-family house on the border of Amarousi and Pefki, nice roasts and appetizers for young and old.
The return to the studio brings two special recipes from Dimitris Skarmoutsos: plant balls with coconut milk and chili and burger with grilled chicken and avocado.
