Demi Lovato Deletes All Instagram Posts After Rehab

Singer Demi Lovato, 29, is betting on a fresh start. She deleted all her Instagram photos and is starting from scratch with just one photo that shows off her new haircut.

The Instagram move comes after Page Six exclusively revealed that Lovato quietly completed another period of rehab in December, three years after a near-fatal overdose.

A source told PageSix that Lovato returned home from Utah and was “doing well.” It’s unclear when they checked in for treatment, but the source suggested she had a relapse.

“I no longer support my ‘sober California’ ways,” the singer shared in her Instagram stories in early December. “Sober, sober is the only way to be.”

Lovato’s fresh start has turned into a haircut, shaved off the side to show a spider tattoo done by tattoo artist Dr. Woo on her scalp. In one of the images, she wrote that she would need the help of her hairdresser to fix the look. “It was grandma spider who taught us many things,” wrote the singer.

In the documentary “Demi Lovato: Dancing with the Devil”, released in March last year, the artist speaks openly about how she has faced chemical dependence. In 2018, she overdosed that nearly killed her. Rescued, she had three strokes, a cardiac arrest, organ failure and pneumonia. Had she not been found, she would have died within 5 or 10 minutes, doctors said.

Since then, Lovato has adopted a treatment based on medication and the “moderate” use of marijuana and alcohol. It is this way of fighting addiction that she referred to when she said that this kind of “California” sobriety was no longer working.

After posting about wanting to get completely sober, Demi Lovato deleted other posts from her Instagram. Currently, on his profile, which has 123 million followers, there is only one photo, published earlier this year.
