Britney Spears autobiography delayed: ‘She’s brutally honest in the book’

It looks like Britney Spears fans will have to wait a little longer for the singer’s revealing autobiography. According to the newspaper The Sun, the publisher Simon & Schuster was notified that the work will need to be postponed, as two stars who were the artist’s affairs would have communicated concern about the content of the book, which was scheduled for February, but should now come out at the end of this year.

In the book, the artist must portray her personal and professional trajectory with the support of journalist Sam Lansky. The writer has written about Adele, Madonna and Nicki Minaj. Britney was married to her childhood friend, Jason Alexander, for just 55 hours in mid-2004. The artist also walked down the aisle to Kevin Federline, with whom she had two children, but divorced in 2007.

In addition to them, the artist had a relationship with singer Justin Timberlake, choreographer Wade Robson, actor Colin Farrell and dated paparazzo Adnan Ghalib. Currently, Britney is in her third marriage, with businessman Sam Asghari.

However, the singer had some relationships that may have been hidden over the years. A source for the singer revealed that these stars would be worried about their stories being exposed: “Britney is brutally honest in the book. […] Britney has lived her life in the public eye, but there are relationships and people she’s found herself with that she’s managed to keep under the radar, including some big-name movie stars and people in the music business. She wanted to go all out with this book and tell the truth, and that’s what people are concerned about.”
