Big Brother Brasil (Globo) has always been the scene of great fights, discussions, friendships and even romances. With the premiere of BBB 22 approaching, fans and netizens of the reality can’t wait to watch the new events of the edition that marks the debut of Tadeu Schmidt, 47, as a presenter.

However, some of the conversations, arguments and offenses end up becoming serious cases of racism, bigotry and even violence. Over the years, the public began to pay attention to the guidelines and flags, and, in some cases, the participants of the reality show ended up at the police station.

To remember moments when the BBB became a police case, the F5 prepared a list with complaints that have already passed through the reality, ranging from racism and zoophilia to religious intolerance and violence against women. Check it out below:

The edition that consecrated Juliette champion, also had its moments of controversy. One of them was when the country singer Rodolffo made racist comments against the participant João Luiz. In a game of discord, the professor from Minas Gerais exposed to his colleagues that the musician compared his hair to that of the Monstro’s wig.

The singer was even investigated by Decradi (Delegation of Racial Crimes and Intolerance Crimes), in Rio. According to the Civil Police reported in April 2021, a procedure was initiated to investigate the crime of racial prejudice. However, according to Decradi, so far the victim has not attended the unit to register the occurrence.

Singer Karol Conká was also the target of complaints accusing her of discrimination after associating Juliette’s behavior, of talking loudly and touching people, to the place where she was born, in Paraíba. At the time, she said that, according to what was explained to her, this way of speaking would be common in the Northeast. “That’s the way, in that person’s land, it’s normal to talk like that. I’m from Curitiba, it’s a very reserved city.”

The singer was heavily criticized on the internet and accused of xenophobia because of the comments made on BBB 21, but the Public Ministry of Rio de Janeiro asked for the filing of discrimination complaints, after analyzing the reality video.

BBB 20

At the beginning of the 20th edition of the BBB, gymnast Petrix Barbosa was accused of harassing Bianca Andrade, aka Boca Rosa, by touching the influencer’s breasts. As if that weren’t enough, netizens also asked for the participant to be expelled for rubbing Flayslane’s genitals.

At the time, the DEAM (Special Police Station for Assistance to Women) in Jacarepaguá, Rio de Janeiro, opened a procedure to investigate the case. He even testified at a Rio de Janeiro police station at the time about the possible crime of sexual harassment in 2020.

BBB 19

The champion of the edition, Paula von Sperling was indicted in 2019 for religious intolerance against social scientist Rodrigo, saying that she was afraid of him because he had “contact with this Oxum business”.

Oxum is one of the black deities of the Afro-Brazilian religions Candomblé and Umbanda, linked to fertility and beauty.

At the time, the Decradi (Delegation of Racial Crimes and Intolerance Crimes) in Rio, concluded that there was prejudice on her part against Rodrigo after an investigation, which heard those involved in the case and analyzed videos of the attraction. However, the case was later dropped by the Public Ministry.

Another brother, Maycon Santos, was denounced by the Public Ministry of Rio for apologizing for mistreatment of animals and a crime against public peace. At the time, he made statements that upset viewers and activists like Luisa Mell, who called for him to be eliminated from the show.

During a chat with the other members of the house, Maycon made comments about games he used to play with animals when he was younger. “Have you ever seen a cat? You put a sticker on the cat, on the side, and he walks like this… Have you ever done that? Have you ever tied a firecracker to his tail?”, he said, who also said he lost his virginity to a goat. Later, also in 2019, the inquiry was shelved.

Already biologist Vanderson Brito was accused by an ex-girlfriend of physical and psychological aggression, in the first week of reality. Subsequently, other incident reports began to be registered. Brito was disqualified from the program to testify. He returned to Acre to defend himself and all complaints were filed due to lack of evidence.

BBB 17

The 2017 edition brought to light a case of aggression against a woman. Doctor Marcos Harter was expelled after being accused of assaulting Emily Araújo, his girlfriend in the reality show and champion of the year. The expulsion took place on the same day that the Civil Police of Rio de Janeiro opened an investigation for investigation.

In videos leaked in the year 2020, Emily showed bruises on her body for the production of BBB. After the accusations, the doctor even participated in A Fazenda 9 (Record) and left the program as runner-up. wanted by F5, the Court of Justice of Rio stated that the process is still under judicial secrecy.
