The first official footage of his highly anticipated new film has been released George LanthimosPoor Things” (Lost Bodies), with his “unloved” protagonist, Emma Stone

Based on the award-winning novel of the same name by Scottish author Alasdair Grey, “Poor Things” is a story of “love, discovery and scientific daring”.

Set in the Victorian era, with the Emma Stone (Emma Stone) to play Belle Baxter, a woman who comes back to life after her brain is replaced with that of her unborn child.

At her side is Willem Dafoe, who plays the intelligent but unorthodox scientist who “brings” her back to life.

As reported by Variety, the cast also includes Mark Ruffalo, Jerrod Carmichael and Ramy Youssef.

In addition to the direction, the talented director signs, among other things, the production in collaboration with Emma Stone.

“Poor Things” written by Tony McNamara (Tony McNamara) is expected to premiere in theaters on September 8.
