The Ministry of Environment and Energy is proceeding with the creation of the Information System of Renewable Energy Sources (RESS), with funding from the Green Fund. It is, as it states, a new chapter in the licensing of projects of Renewable Energy Sources (RES), High Efficiency Cogeneration of Electricity and Heat (CHP) and/or Energy Storage units.
This is a unified information system, which will be the central digital hub for the management of the licensing of Renewable Energy Sources (RES), High Efficiency Cogeneration of Electricity and Heat (CHP) projects and/or Energy Storage units.
The aim is to be the central digital tool for the management, monitoring, analysis and optimization of RES projects (wind, photovoltaic, hydroelectric, etc.), enhancing transparency, sustainability and the energy transition at the level of regions, municipalities, companies and research bodies.
As the ministry notes:
The PSAPE will bring radical change to the way procedures are organized and monitored, ensuring:
– Single electronic platform for all involved bodies.
– Simplification and acceleration of the licensing process.
– Automatic handling of documents and information.
– Easy tracking of request progress.
With its implementation, the PSAPE will significantly reduce bureaucracy, accelerate the development of new RES projects and strengthen investment security in the energy sector.
It will be a strategic monitoring and planning tool for the public administration, actively contributing to the national goals for the green transition and energy autonomy.
