Dolly Parton gave her fans a taste of her new music.

The legendary country singer’s new album, titled ‘Rock Star’, features covers of classic songs by Prince, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin and Lynyrd Skynyrd.

Her album features big names in rock music such as Paul McCartney, Stevie Nicks and Steven Tyler.

The country star is set to release her debut rock album later this year, but she’s already shared her first song ‘World on Fire’ and performed it live for the first time at the 58th Academy of Country Music Awards.

Dolly Parton, who presented the awards ceremony, was welcomed to the stage by her co-host, country star Garth Brooks.

The country queen stole the spotlight wearing a voluminous flared skirt and black leather ensemble embellished with rhinestones.

“Because she’s the greatest of all time. Not only is he in the Country Music Hall of Fame, but he was recently inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as well,” said Garth Brooks.

“Initially she asked them not to consider her because she felt she didn’t deserve the honor. Then Dolly did what only Dolly would do. She went in and recorded her first rock album called, of course, Rockstar,” the country singer continued.

“Clap for country rock star Dolly Parton,” he said.

“The incomparable Dolly Parton. That was fantastic,” Brooks told the crowd.
