Britney Spears hasn’t seen her teenage sons in “over a year” after their public spat over her behavior on social media.

“By the end of the summer (2022), tensions got so bad that the boys weren’t even responding to her texts. And she was furious,” TMZ producer Katie Hayes claimed in the documentary “TMZ Investigates: Britney Spears: The Price of Freedom.”

A source confirms to Page Six that the last time the “Toxic” singer saw her sons Sean Preston, 17, and Jaden, 16, was “early 2022” — before her marriage to Sam Asgari.

Spears’ relationship with her sons came to a head in August 2022 after her youngest son publicly criticized her behavior as a mother.

“I think mom had a hard time paying attention to us and showing us equal love. I don’t think she showed enough especially to Preston and I feel really bad about that,” Jaden told the Daily Mail at the time.

According to the boy’s father, Kevin Federline, Spears’ penchant for flaunting her bare body online didn’t help matters.
“I try to explain to them, ‘Look, maybe this is just another way he’s trying to express himself.’ It’s hard. I can’t imagine what it’s like to be a teenager who has to go to high school and hear all this about his mother.”

Spears said she was saddened to hear the way Jayden talked about her in the press.

“I am deeply sorry to face his outcry [Τζέιντεν] who said I didn’t live up to his expectations as a mother…maybe one day we can meet face to face and talk about it openly!!!!’ she wrote in a lengthy Instagram post in September 2022.

However, now that time has passed, it seems the estranged family may be ready to put the drama behind them.

“Recently, there have been occasional texts between Britney and her kids, so maybe the ice is… thawing a bit,” TMZ’s Charles Latibeaudiere claimed.
