Alec Baldwin has revealed that filming of ‘Rust’ is wrapping up, three weeks after charges were dropped against him in the fatal shooting of filmmaker Halyna Hutchins.
Through his personal account on Instagram, the actor published a photo from the shooting together with his young co-star Patrick Scott McDermott (Patrick Scott McDermott). Both looked happy in a magical setting. “Last day on the set of RUST with this guy.” A very talented actor and a lovable young man with a bright future ahead of him. My love,” Baldwin wrote.
For his part McDermott commented, “I love you Alec”, before posting a touching snap of them hugging on set with the caption: “Alec’s last day [emoji καρδιάς]. I’ll miss you”.

As the Daily Mail reports, with a budget of just $7 million, the film was described as a “passion project” for Baldwin.
It is noted that after a hiatus of several months due to the fatal injury of Halina Hutchins in October 2021, the dropping of Baldwin’s manslaughter charges, script changes and Bianca Klein replacing Hutchins, filming resumed in new location in Montana.
