Writer, philanthropist and mother-in-law of Rishi Sunak, Sudha Murthyshared with the audience of The Kapil Sharma Show a funny incident she faced and proved how much humor he has.

Sunda revealed that when she tried to visit Sunak in Britain, she was confronted by a border guard who thought he was making fun of him.

“One time I went, they asked me my home address. “Where do you live in London?” My older sister was with me and I thought of writing “10 Downing Street”. My son also lives there (UK) but I couldn’t remember his full address. That’s how I wrote 10 Downing Street,” Sunda said.

’10 Downing Street’ is the official residence and office of UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.

The 72-year-old went on to say that the immigration officer looked at her in complete disbelief and asked: “Are you kidding me?!”
She replied, “Nahi, sachchi bolti hu” (No, I tell you the truth).

“No one believes that I, a 72-year-old, simple lady, can be the prime minister’s mother-in-law,” she said.
