It’s the first time the Johnny Cash Foundation has opened its archive to share with fans stories about the process of creating his music. John Carter Cash, according to a report in “The Guardian” newspaper, said that “there is no better way to know my father than to look at his written works.”
“In the songs he recorded, in his poetry, or in the material that was not published during his lifetime, he put his heart, blood and spirit into everything he wrote,” he continued. “I am blessed to see this book in circulation and know that his brilliance and life are being honored by focusing on his greatest work, his words».
The book ‘Johnny Cash: The Life in Lyrics’ will be published by White Rabbit in the UK and Kindle Edition in the US.
