The “divorce” of Kolossos and Papatheodoros is official

In the past and officially from the bench of Kolossos Rhodes o Ilias Papatheodorou.

The Rhodesian KAE in a statement thanked the experienced Greek coach who has reached an agreement with Prometheus to take over his technical leadership, while Elias Papatheodorou himself said goodbye to the team.

The announcement in detail:

“Thank you Ilias, see you soon!

KAE Kolossos H Hotels would like to warmly thank Ilias Papatheodorou for his offer.

In the one year that our collaboration lasted, the moments of joy were the majority and the 2022/23 season is characterized as highly successful with coach Ilias at the helm. Kolossos H Hotels remained a stable force in the Basket League and for another year finished in the top eight, participating in the playoffs.

At the same time, the excellent relationship and connection of the people with the team was maintained and together they turned the indoor stadium of Kallithea into one of the best venues in the Greek league. This is confirmed by the numbers, as in eleven games, our team celebrated victory in nine of them.

The crowd enjoyed good basketball and watched a fighting team that gave everything in every game and every weekend…

Ilia, thank you for everything, see you soon…

Elias Papatheodorou said: “A very beautiful collaboration with Kolossos H Hotels comes to an end today.

I would like to thank from the bottom of my heart the families of Mr. Kouios and Mr. Hatzilazaros for the honor of leading Kolossos as coach in this year’s team effort.

A big thank you to President Mr. Karatzas and Vice President Mr. Melis for the trust and support, at all levels from beginning to end.
