Quentin Tarantino “killed off’ one of his movie characters. The director, who is the guest of honor at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, shared about his latest film, “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood”via a post on his official Twitter account of his podcast ‘The Video Archives’.
In particular, he announced that Rick Dalton, the fantastic Hollywood actor who played the Leonardo di Caprio in the 2019 film, he died.

“We are saddened to hear of the passing of actor Rick Dalton, best known for his roles in the hit TV series ‘The Law of Awards’ and ‘The Firefighter Trilogy’” states the announcement. “Rick passed away peacefully at his home in Hawaii. RIP Rick Dalton 1933-2023» is noted.
The director clarified that the next episode of the podcast, which Tarantino co-hosts with screenwriter Roger Avery, will be in Dalton’s memory and include some of Rick’s roles.
In preparation for the film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Tarantino wrote a book about Dalton’s story and working with stuntman Cliff Booth played by Brad Pitt in the film.
