Singer Sidney Magal, 72, has good clinical conditions, but in the last few hours he has had a small acute spontaneous bleeding in the brain, often related to high blood pressure. That’s what his latest HCor medical bulletin reveals.
According to the hospital, however, the episode did not bring sequels to the artist, who was under observation for 72 hours in the Intensive Care Unit of the place and had a good evolution.
Now, Magal will follow up with the medical teams at the Hcor Inpatient Unit, but does not have a forecast for hospital discharge.
Hospitalized since Friday morning (26) at Hospital Vivalle, in São José dos Campos, Magal was transferred less than 24 hours later to HCor, in São Paulo. The singer felt sick during a show on the eve of hospitalization, in that city, and was hurriedly removed from the stage.
The transfer took place around midnight on Saturday (27). Before that, the singer posted a video on social networks in which he tried to reassure his fans.
“I’ve had high blood pressure for a long time, it went through the roof, and I thought I should go to the hospital,” he said, adding that the doctors “saw that it’s nothing serious.”
