“Alec got a new hip today… It was long overdue. We’ve been through so much together…as your partner and as you heal, I want so much for you to put this very intense chapter of chronic pain behind you and improve your quality of life“, his wife wrote, thanking the doctors.

News of the actor’s hip replacement comes after prosecutors dropped criminal charges against him in April in connection with the shooting death of “Rust” filmmaker Halyna Hutchins in 2021.
