The MP (Public Ministry) of São Paulo launched an investigation, on Tuesday (30) to investigate the entry of children and adolescents in presentations by MC Pipokinha. The artist is known for performing performances with sexual connotations in songs and dances.
The organ says, in a note published on the website, that some young people watch the shows unaccompanied by their parents or guardians. The demand was requested by the state deputy Guto Zacarias (União Brasil) to the Justice and Citizenship Secretariat of the state government, who forwarded it to the MP.
“The singer promotes shows with sexual and obscene connotations, to the sound of songs with lyrics of pornographic content and erotic performances. There is no indicative classification in the promotional materials for the events”, she informs.
wanted by F5, MC Pipokinha did not return. The inquiry was launched on May 25 by the prosecutor Luciana Bergamo, for Childhood and Youth. The magistrate states that the right to free expression of artistic activity cannot violate fundamental rights of children and adolescents. “The services must respect their peculiar condition as a person in development.”
Doroth Helena de Souza Alves, funk artist’s name, has 15 days to respond to the entity’s request for information, in order to clarify the lack of indicative classification in its presentations, as well as the entry of minors to the venues.
