This time it’s happening at Jordan The Marriage of Jordan’s 28-year-old crown prince, Hussain bin Abdullah II, with his fiancee of Saudi nationality, an architect by profession, Rajwa Al-Saif.
The religious ceremony took place at Amman’s Zahran Palace, where Hussein’s parents, King Abdullah and Queen Rania, were married in 1993.
The bride was accompanied to the palace by the crown prince’s younger siblings, Prince Hashem and Princess Salma, while the ceremony was attended by just 140 guests, close relatives of the couple and both families.
Present at the ceremony were the First Lady of the USA, Jill Biden, as well as the former royal couple of Spain, Sofia and Juan Carlos.
After the wedding ceremony, the couple will pass through the city for the traditional wedding parade and head to Al-Husseiniyya Palace accompanied by a motorcade that will include eight red supercars and eleven motorcycles.
There will be the official reception with around 1,700 guests, including Prince William and his wife, Kate.
