The model and journalist Lygia Fazio, 40, died this Wednesday (31) after complications suffered after having a Cerebral Vascular Accident (CVA) three weeks ago. The news was confirmed by her own social network.
“Guys, unfortunately our warrior passed away. We thank you once again for all the support. I ask you to understand our moment, we were unable to respond to each message. In addition, information about what happened has already been explained here. It is not at all relevant to explain all the details now,” said the family’s post.
Her wake was scheduled for this Thursday (1), in Taboão da Serra. Despite not going into the topic of causes, family members shared messages from friends and co-workers on the model’s Instagram.
Among them is that of journalist Flávia Noronha, who cites an error during an aesthetic procedure as the reason for the complications.
“How long are these murderous doctors going to put PMMA on people? This is a crime and has to be punished”, she vented about a kind of gel that fills in deformities. According to UOL, the model had to undergo surgery to remove three kilos of industrial silicone that ended up spreading throughout her body.
