Thiago Wild’s ex says he is not bothered by tennis success: ‘Brazil embraces aggressors’

The influencer Thayane Lima countered the comments that she would be jealous of the success of her former partner Thiago Wild. In an interview with F5this Friday (2), she reinforces that she is only after Justice after accusing the tennis player of domestic violence, in 2021. “I am shocked that he has a sister, would he want a boyfriend for his sister just like he is? no. Thiago’s success doesn’t bother me. What bothers me is impunity, it’s how Brazil embraces the aggressor”, he reinforces.

With 1.2 million followers, Thayane says that Wild was only mentioned in his profile because his name would have been mentioned at a press conference. Before the incident, she did not make appointments to her ex on social media. “I post very few things, so what do you mean I’m doing this for fame or money!? In no case do I ask for money. What he paid me was alimony, because we were, yes, married. He doesn’t know what union means stable, but I know.”

According to her, “nothing fairer” than him being successful in his career, since he trains so much. She only asks that society not forget the acts allegedly carried out by Wild. Two years ago, Thayane used her profile to show, with the lawyer’s endorsement, marks of what would be physical aggression in addition to prints of conversations and statements attributed to Wild that would have a sexist nature. He denied violence at the time.

“Winning a tournament does not make him the best human being in the world given the seriousness of the acts he has committed, such as physical and psychological aggression, xenophobia, racism and sexism!” Accuses Thayane, who does not think it is possible to separate life inside and outside court. “Acting in a mocking, arrogant and prepotent way in the face of such an important subject just shows who he is! Where should we talk about crimes against women? With whom if not the aggressor?”.

In an official note to F5, this Friday, Wild claims that “there was no trial”, so he could not “be found guilty”. The tennis player was asked, last Tuesday (30), about the accusations of domestic violence after beating the Russian Daniil Medvedev by 3 sets to 2, in the first round of Roland Garros. He declined to comment on the matter. Soon after, Thayane went to the networks to ask for the process to continue.
