“Erin Brockovich” by Steven Soderbergh: Mega at 23:10, Sunday 04/06
THE Erin Brockovich, a divorced mother of three, becomes a paralegal and takes it upon herself to hunt down a powerful corporation that is polluting the city’s water. Erin Brockovich’s story is real and it involves the energy company Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E), which had to pay $333 million, the largest settlement in a US court.
The real Erin Brockovich made a small appearance in the film and has said that the events of the film are 98% accurate. Starring Julia Roberts, who won an Academy Award, BAFTA, Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award for this performance, among others!
