The well-known actress described the first sexist – if anything – behavior towards her in the field of entertainment, at the age of only 16 Elle Fanning.

The 25-year-old star revealed to the Hollywood Reporter’s Comedy Actress Roundtable a story she experienced when she was 16, when “the disgusting pig” told her she lost a role in a father-daughter comedy because she was… “agam..h.”

Fanning explained that she was “16 years old” at the time and recalled “one person” saying, “Oh, she didn’t get the father-daughter road trip comedy because she’s . . . agam . . .”

“It’s so disgusting. And I can laugh about it now, she noted, crediting her team with creating a “filtering system” that protected her from as much “harmful comments” as possible at such a young age.

“I was very sheltered,” she admitted. “I have an amazing manager and agent who have been with me since I was 8 or 9, the same people.”
