After celebrating the last radiotherapy session, one of the stages of treatment for bowel cancer, Preta Gil made a special appearance at Ivete Sangalo’s show, this Thursday (8), at the Anhembi Sambódromo, in São Paulo.
Preta sang one of her hits, “Sinais de Fogo”, and received tributes from Ivete and singer Priscila Alcântara.
“My dose of healing. Think of this woman’s love and energy,” she said of her friend from Bahia. “You are a force of nature. Thank you for showing me that I can still do what I love most.”
Preta received hugs and caresses from Ivete during the presentation. “I can still sing,” she said excitedly to the audience.
“She is our love”, replied Ivete. The singer also said that next year her friend will be on stage for a full performance.
Gilberto Gil’s daughter celebrated on Tuesday (6) the last radiotherapy session. She will take a two-month break from cancer treatment and then undergo surgery.
Micareta São Paulo takes place this Corpus Christi holiday and precedes the LGBTQIAP+ Pride Parade.
This Friday (9) the music is on account of Gloria Groove, Daniela Mercury and Alinne Rosa. The shows on Saturday (10th) are by Timbalada, Pabllo Vittar, Lexa and Claudia Leitte.
