This Sunday, June 11 at 5:45 p.m., “Neighborhoods on a Plate” will tour one of the oldest neighborhoods in Athens, Kerameikos.

In the neighborhood of mezes, we could not but start our walk from “Louis”, the ideal place for mezes until the end.
Louis goes through many phases during the day!
It starts as a cafe for backgammon and coffee in the morning, continues as a snack bar for the locals at noon and closes at night, as the most in-house hangout in Kerameikos, hosting people from all over Athens.
A little further on you will find the grocery store “Sto Vathos Kipos” where the owners place special emphasis on healthy food and organic products.
Here one can get gluten-free and lactose-free foods, food supplements, super foods, baby items and even pet products.
The walk to Kerameikos also requires a visit to a pottery workshop. Here, Dimitris Skarmoutsos meets Alexandros, a young visual artist and sculptor who teaches pottery classes in his workshop, “Korkodilo”.
