The recent divorce between actor Kevin Costner, 68, and former model Christine Baumgartner, 49, has given the talk. That’s because, according to TMZ, the star would have filed an eviction request from his ex, who would refuse to leave one of the mansions.
Both would have a long-standing prenuptial agreement that would define that she would have up to 30 days to leave in case of separation. The divorce was filed on May 1st.
According to TMZ, Costner said that his ex-wife has used various devices to get the actor to agree to her “various financial demands”.
The actor would have already given her more than US$ 1.2 million (equivalent to R$ 5.8 million) for her prenuptial obligations, and believes that the amount would be enough for her to find a new home.
Both were together for 18 years. The request for separation was made by Christine. The actor’s wife would have alleged “irreconcilable differences” to formalize the request for dissolution of marriage.
Kevin’s publicist also confirmed the end of the relationship to TMZ. “We ask that his, Christine’s and her children’s privacy be respected as they navigate this difficult time,” read a statement.
The couple have three children, aged 12, 14 and 15. The site also found that Christine is seeking joint custody of the children, but that she has not applied for child support.
