Describing his last day on set, Ford said he felt a sense of peace and satisfaction
Fifteen years passed between the last two Indiana Jones films, and this gap has been talked about by Harrison Ford on Digital Spy.
“Well, it wasn’t like we were sitting around for 10 years waiting to come up with an idea.” he answered. “When we finished the last film, I don’t think anyone thought about going and making another film for a while. And then there were some interesting ideas that came to us. But for some time they did not advance. And then we found an idea, a script and a strong story that we wanted to tell“, added the actor.

“We’re coming to the end of the Indiana Jones era and I wanted to see a conclusion to his story that matched the reality of his age and what effect that has on the person we’ve known for so many years“, he said.
Describing his last day on set, Ford said: “The feeling I had is the feeling you get when you make something, and you can see it or you can remember that you did it and you have the satisfaction of working on it and getting something worthwhile. I felt a sense of peace, a sense of satisfaction, that this particular work we had done together [ο σκηνοθÎτης ΤζÎιμς Μάνγκολντ] and myself and everyone else involved, it was completed in a way that I was really satisfied with. I hope others find it as rewarding as I did“, concluded the actor.
