Matala is preparing to welcome a large number of people again this year during the three days of June 23, 24, & 25, as part of the Matala Beach Festival, which is taking place for the 10th year.
Matala Beach Festival is one of Europe’s largest free music festivals, combining fun with relaxation and offering the opportunity for people of all ages to escape from the stress of everyday life and enjoy three days full of music , dancing but also many activities, next to the famous beach with the caves.
The party
3 Stages, 3 full days where in the line up of the main stage of the festival, big bands and leading artists of Greek and foreign music will perform, such as Thanasis Papakonstantinou, Locomondo, Tonis Sfinos, The Intruder, 48 Hours, The Rootsriders , ABBA Revival, The Skelters, ACDC Gang The Motiff, Loopia etc.

As part of its parallel activities, the Matala Beach Festival welcomes and hosts the “Busking Project”, an initiative directly linked to the culture of Matala and the philosophy of the festival.
The “Busking Project” in its essence, welcomes and embraces all independent “street artists” within a large community characterized by self-organization and acceptance. During the festival, several artists actively participate in the festival, in various parts of the settlement. Also, a colorful multi-purpose hall will host activities for children, parents and young people full of music, games, stories, dance and many surprises!
Admission to all concerts and activities is free.
