The house of Dior and Rome-based studio ThirtyOne Design + Management took to the gardens of Taormina in Sicily to create two small treehouse cabins, a wellness retreat at the Grand Hotel Timeo.
The ‘Le Jardin des Rêves’ project was completed in time to coincide with the hotel’s 150th anniversary celebration, and from June to October guests are invited to indulge in exclusive Dior facials and skin care in the verdant oasis.
The century-and-a-half-old hotel was originally designed by Florence Trevelyan, a renowned English gardener and pioneering wildlife protector in the late 19th century, and has long been a source of serenity and artistic inspiration. Throughout all these years, numerous artists and writers have sought these gardens for solace and creative energy. This tradition is continued today by the collaboration of Grand Hotel Timeo with Dior Spa.
