This is a colorful, Brazilian, coming-of-age series that takes place in a tourist resort with prestigious customers. This new series may remind you of White Lotus, but it is separated by a key difference.
Summer Heat focuses on the lives of the resort’s employees
A group of young people find work in this famous seaside resort. There, most people meet for the first time, develop friendships, fall in love and quarrel about the simple but also the complex. For many, this is the first time they are in a workplace. This adds another challenge to being able to balance work and fun at the same time. Their work there offers them an unprecedented sense of freedom, which they are called upon to manage wisely.
And all this may seem light and fun, but in the series there is a parallel plot. An employee’s mother is arrested for money laundering. Of course, all she cares about is her daughter’s safety. From this event on, many more secrets come to disturb the summer peace of the company and to bring to light truths that were not even imagined.
