THE American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences sent invitations of new members to 398 artists and people of the cinema, among which is included Taylor Swift (Taylor Swift), Oscar winner Jonathan Ke Quan (Ke Huy Quan), the star of “Elvis” Austin Butler (Austin Butler), Keke Palmer and o The Weeknd.

Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav, Joana Vicente and Janet Pierso were also nominated.
Although the 398 artists accept the invitation of the Academy, now she will list 10,817 participantsup from 10,665 last year, while 9,375 will be eligible to vote for the 96th Academy Awards to be held on March 10, 2024.
As reported by Variety, of the new members, 40% are women and 52% come from 51 countries outside the US.
