Madonna, 64, is recovering at home from an infection. The Queen of Pop was hospitalized on Saturday and was intubated. The news was announced by the singer’s manager, Guy Oseary. With the health condition, the artist postponed the “Celebration” tour, which would start on July 15, in Vancouver, Canada, to celebrate 40 years of career.
According to the BBC, she already feels better and has been discharged. The condition was considered serious. No further information was released about the cause and type of bacteria that reached her body.
The artist was found unconscious and had to be rushed to a hospital in New York City last Saturday (24). The information was disclosed by the North American website Page Six.
The site also found that the pop artist’s daughter, Lourdes Leon, 26, was at her mother’s side throughout the episode. The singer would already be conscious and recovering.
According to Jamar Tejada, a pharmacist consulted by the F5the treatment of bacterial infections is done with specific antibiotics.
“Care must be taken with the use of antibiotics because using them inappropriately can develop superbugs, causing the individual not to improve.”
