Priscila Fantin reveals that rare disease almost took her out of Dança dos Celebrities: ‘I was very weak’

Priscila Fantin, 40, almost had to give up on Dança dos Famosos, a painting on Domingão with Huck (Globo) in which she is a finalist. At the beginning of the picture, the actress discovered that she had mesenteric panniculitis, a rare disease that causes inflammation of the intestine.

“That made me very sad because I wanted to be able to do more, you know?”, he told Gshow. “I was limiting myself a lot because I was in a lot of pain, I was very weak. So, I had the sadness of not being able to really be surrendered as I like to be.”

After the scare, she says she was able to overcome the challenge of learning a different rhythm per week more smoothly. “I’m really happy I managed to do it,” she said. “We have to feel the shock, the discouragement, the despair, we have to feel the desire to give up, because all this only makes you want more, it drives you, it makes you stronger.”

To Gshow, the actress also said that she has no plans to return to soap operas “for now”. After the final of the painting, she intends to travel around Brazil with the play “Preciso Falar de Amor Sem Dizer Eu Te Amo”, in which she acts with her husband, Bruno Lopes.

The final of Dança dos Famosos will be live on Sunday (2), with the finalists dancing two rhythms each. In addition to Priscila, Carla Diaz and Rafa Kalimann are in the running.
