The team behind Stranger Things has revealed the first teaser for the prequel project “The First Shadow”, which opens on November 17th and will run until August 25th, 2024 at the Phoenix Theater in London’s West End.
Four months after it was first announced, the team behind Stranger Things have revealed the first teaser for the prequel project “The First Shadow,” which opens November 17 and runs through August 25, 2024 at the Phoenix Theater in West End London.
The stage at the Phoenix Theater is lit in red while the screen reads: “The beginning of the Stranger Things story may hold the key to what’s to come.”
Producer Stephen Daldry and Justin Martin co-direct the project, which is set in 1959 – the same year Henry Creel (Raphael Luce) and his family moved to the fictional town of Hawkins, Indiana.
In season four, fans saw how spider-obsessed Henry used his psychokinetic powers to murder his mother and sister — a crime his father was convicted of — before becoming Dr. Martin Brenner (Matthew Modine).
Jamie Campbell Bower – the actor who plays the grown-up creature Vecna - commented on two separate Stranger Things Instagram posts with a spider emoji, perhaps another clue to what we’ll see.
First Shadow will not only include more of young Henry’s origin story, but will also reveal the 17-year-old version of future single mother of two Joyce Maldonado (Winona Ryder), who “just wants to graduate and get the hell out” of city.
Tickets range from £45 to £165 for Stranger Things: The First Shadow, written by Emmy-nominated Kate Trefry.
